How do I shot review?

So the most hectic period in our capitalist calendar has come and gone only to be replaced by the worst blizzard this country has suffered for 30 years...

I can't decide which was more fun!

Aside from the obvious benefits like giving all school kids an extra week of relaxation to let their brains and learning skills bio degrade It gave me time to think. What about? Well how much I really want to do my own video reviews. To be posted on the internet and have people re-mix it and troll me. But the big issue I'm having is that this is me we're talking about.

Its a little known fact about me, I hate doing something which is the same as an already existing idea. I love my work to be unique as it possibly can be. Whether its a character, world, story, or reviews. I always want my own unique angle to call "my, Preshesss" with the best Gollum impression I can muster at the time.

This is where I'm drawing a blank. I love video games but there are so many people far more knowledgeable about that then me already posting reviews. Its the same for films, comic books, normal books, TV shows. Hell there are even reviewers who focus entirely on one show through its many series for their material like SFdebries, who reviews nothing but Star Trek episodes and does a damn fine job of them!

Sure you could say I could still review video games but find a unique format to do it in. But then surly I'll simply get buried under the mass of other unknown wannabe game reviewers waiting to be discovered. No I want to be able to look at a book and give as good a review as if I looked at play or a advert on the telly. I want to be able to review anything I can and still put out quality work.

Invariably with the internet, I worry that a lot of people will find me unfunny or irritating and simply spam my video's with hate comments. Kinda like with Film Brain, only I know for a fact that I can do better then him. But at the same time I worry I'll never have the individuality I crave from my work and never achieve the overly harsh bars I set for myself.

So what do you think guys? Any suggestions? Or will this post, just like any other I've put out so far be dropped into the void of indifference that blogger is?
